Meet The Founder
Ashumu laizer
CEO, Founder
Safari Requests was founded by Mr. Alpha Laizer, a seasoned tourism professional with over 10 years of experience in the Tanzanian tour industry. Born and raised in a Maasai village in Longido, within the Arusha region, Alpha grew up surrounded by the landscapes, wildlife, and traditions that now inspire his work.
His early life was shaped by responsibility and resilience. Due to financial challenges, Alpha was forced to leave formal education at a young age and spent time herding cattle with his family. Later, he moved to Moshi, where he worked tirelessly — even selling peanuts — to support himself and contribute to his family’s needs.
A defining moment in his journey came when he met Ville and Carita, a couple from Finland who believed in his potential and supported his education. With their help, Alpha returned to school and later completed his professional training at the Kilimanjaro Institute of Technology. This opportunity allowed him to transform personal determination into a lifelong career in tourism.
